I like the Carr idea. I think we need to go free agency at the CB position and then try and get the best NT available in the draft.

I don't like rookie CB's. They very rarely succeed the first year or two and most of them finally start to reach their potential about the time that their rookie contract is up. I don't feel like watching a rookie CB get burned all season long. At least with Carr, he can be plugged in right away and we can focus on other needs.

I don't think Ratliff is a capaable NFL NT. I know, he is a probowler at the position more than once, but he simply is not capable of stuffing the run, and hasn't been for the last two seasons. He is a great defensive player and a great team leader, but he is getting destroyed at the nose. His best years are ahead of him if he is moved to DE. That being said, the NT in the draft would be my first target. NT's usually translate to the NFL pretty well and I think we could expect a starter from day one.

After that, it's all about depth and maybe a RG, depending on how we feel about Kosier.

Sign me up-just replace jenkins with a big DE or NT.

I wouldn't have a problem with signing Carr, but forget about Nicks, the Saints are going to franchise him and he'll sign a long term deal with them. I'd definitely sign Myers and I'm drafting Decastro in the first round at 14, Offensive line fixed with Nagy, Arkin and Kowalski battling it out for the other guard spot and backup center and guard posiiton with Parenell the swing tackle..finally the overhauling of the offensive line is complete..that alone will help the defense by a consistant running game, balanced offense and controlling the clock and keeping the defense off the field...rest of the draft, all defense..that's my plan!!

I like the Nicks and Carr signing but Myers really only fits a zone blocking scheme so I would go Wells at OC or Satele.

Not a fan of Ingram or Jenkins. Watch Ingram a lot and he takes way to many plays off, more of a workout warrior to me. As to Jenkins, wouldn't touch him. He has Pacman Jones written all over him. Once he gets the money, he is going to be far more disruptive than anyone.

If we stay at #14 would have to go Kirkpatrick, or Barron or Poe in that order.

In the second probably Johnson CB Montana, Branch OLB, Hightower ILB or Minnefield CB.

3rd would be George Iloka FS Boise St for me hands down.
