Actually I think Jerry works better with no salary cap. That is the last time we won it all.

We were just linked to the whole Cromartie thing, forcing the Joneses to refute rumors that we were trading Tashard Choice.

Last year, a lot of the more prominent free agents were linked to Dallas, as is the case every year. Every player wants to be a part of the greatest franchise in the league.

I think we might have gone after Peppers had Anthony Spencer not played his butt off this year. He openly talked about wanting to play in Dallas.

Dansby is a great player but we seem happy with Brooking and James for now.

Rolle made the most sense for us and for all we know Jerry reached out to him. I wouldn't want him at what some are reporting he will get.

It's clear, at least to me, that we are done with the headliner signings. That means those of you hoping Jerry is going to bring in Rolle or Peppers, or Boldin, or whomever is going to be disappointed.

We're taking an opportunistic approach much like last year and will only bring in a guy that is a good fit AND wants to play to win. We will not be bringing in guys looking to get a huge payday. If that was your hopes for the free agency period, the next week is going to be dreadful for you. Sorry.

I used to be one of these guys, I have matured over time..I definitely prefer this approach
