Free agency is here and I want juice

That's true but we still have to make the attempt and surround him with weapons.

Dowdle as your RB, Ferguson as your TE, Cooks and Tolbert as 2 of your 3 WRs. It just isn't acceptable.
How about Witten at TE, Cooper and Lamb as 1/2WR, Prime Zeke, and prime Frederick/Smith. Super winner at Head Coach. Super Bowl Winner at offensive coordinator. Not enough? Don't worry. More excuses and failures to come.

And that team had a better shot than 2024.

I fail to see the rationale. He's the QB. Should we just not try?

Super winner at Head Coach. Super Bowl Winner at offensive coordinator. All the same end result when one ingredient is in the mix. Let's keep mixing up the recipe.

10 teaspoons fecal material with a host of other ingredients to try and hide the taste.

Kellen is a super bowl winner because he had all the things you mentioned in the first post I quoted AND key point.....AND a top 5 defense. Not a timid defense holding on for dear life against San fran. A defense that embarrassed Patrick Mahomes. But hey.......keep holding your hat on that 19 point performance

I agree but is disingenuous to point out all of the times Dallas porous defense has sucked yet ignore what Dak has looked like when the defense did its job. End result has been the same in both scenarios.
Done its job *in the playoffs*? I don't know if done its job is 19 points and zero turnovers. But even still when Philly d had their worst game (vs rams) their running back had twice as many yards as their qb.

Cowboy fans hate context.

When your qb is mid you make the roster as perfect as possible. Philly knows it. Who the hell expects dak to beat the niners with no run game? Until we build a team that can win a playoff game with dak throwing for 150 yards we go nowhere. That's why the receiver stuff makes me laugh. But whatever............

You conveniently left out the fact that Dak asked to be the highest paid QB in the N.F.L. yet people are also saying that he needs a top 5 roster to be successful.

But as you stated, Cowboys fans hate context.

Legal tampering and unofficial announcements is Monday. All our moves can be officially announced on Wednesday. (I will need help starting all those threads)

While I'll always be a trench guy and will applaud any and all moves to upgrade those positions, this team is equally in need of offensive playmakers and a serious influx of speed. We must have it.

We all know what the QB is and we also know he's not going anywhere. Do not magnify his weaknesses by giving him a slow mediocre supporting cast. Which is exactly what he had last year.

This is it. Get (selectively) aggressive. Sign. Trade. Make it happen now. These next two weeks will determine whether the team can be competitive next year.

And don't forget some juice on offense. Not only in the draft next month but right now in free agency.
Jerry just wants the cowboys to be relevant enough. which means he will probably sign a mid level FA, to appease the fans. he has been setting that up for weeks by saying, we are not filling gaps, we are going to be selective, blah blah blah...in other words. don't hold your breath.

and then he will draft and hopefully this year is not as bad as the past two years *except for beebe).... even blind squirrels find a nut now and then.

and then he will spin spin spin spin.

he will sell hope.

same crap at training camp.
end the year somewhere between 7-10 and 10-7 (hardly possible). and spin again.

oh yeah, we will sign Parsons to a 4 year 164M contract with 122M guaranteed. or something to that effect. he sells way too many jerseys for him to go anywhere else.

I do not believe we can fill all our needs.

Trenches and a legit run game would make a huge difference on both sides of the ball.

Sorry brother....But OJ is dead.

Doubt he could have helped....but then again....

Dak doesn't make that much more than hurts. Tell Jerry to do his job and stop lying to fans.

Lamb and Turpin are pretty fast. They need a RB and more explosive TE.
I actually would rather see them sign Nick Bolton for the defense.

Dallas defense held San Francisco to 23 points in their first playoff meeting and 19 points in their second playoff meeting. That is all you could ask for.

Yet Daks performance was pedestrian in the first meeting and downright fecal in the second meeting.
And it's just ridiculous how everyone else gets blamed.

Rise…I will be pleased to see ANY upgrades at any position. This roster is multiple players away from hanging around at Jerry’s proverbial “rim”.
