Do you think the Boyz will sign any Free Agents this year ? what position might they target ?

I think they will be looking at 3-4 positions in FA:

Safety: Goldson (Right age, talented, is he Kiffin's type of safety?), Moore (Does a bit of everything well and is in his prime at 28), Reed (vet stud, leader that may miss games. Is a game changer) and Woodson (leader, doesn't impact games like he used to but still has talent).

OG: Levitre (still not franchised), Brandon Moore (played for Callahan with Jets, 32 yrs old, still playing well).

OT: Vollmer (LT or RT, would cost $$$ but no hiccups for a while), Andre SMith (really coming into his own now and is a protitypical RT, reportedly asking for $9 million/year.), Branden Albert (Now this guy has talent to play LT and is still young. Minus the injury concerns may be the best bang for the $) Jermon Bushrod, Jake Long.

DL: It won't be an impact starter, maybe a depth player at extremely good value with past skins on the wall. The draft is where this team will look for a starting caliber DE or DT for this d-line.

*** Bolded are best pickings and may have best value since there is also a very good offering at these positions in the draft. Both bolded positions are a great need for this team, especially If/when Free and/or Sensy get cut. This team may hold onto Free right up to the draft or June 1 to not show their hand on draft day and or for the structure of cap savings if there is any to hold him to June 1st.

I'd rather pick up a veteran safety and veteran dlinemen and address oline in the draft early. Would be a perfect offseason if we can't resign spencer

I'm not expecting much. Maybe a couple of mid-level signings if certain players are still available after the initial wave of signings and maybe they become a bargain.

Yeah more likely. I see linebacker depth and d line depth will be signed. Think rb, te, offensive line, safety will be addressed in draft

i think (am hoping) we sign a top flight OL to be the starter and a rotational DL

On OL, it is likely to be OG since they are cheaper than OT

then, in the draft we can go

Rd 1, 2, and 3: DT/OL/safety based on our draft board and value

last season remember Livings and Broad..... big impact free agents !!!

What's the market for Glen Dorsey gonna look like? I know he was somewhat of a bust in KC but they didn't do him any favors by playing him at DE either. He was flat out dominant in the SEC in the 4-3.

The Cowboys won't be interested in the players above, sadly. They can't afford them.

You can't know that, so please don't speak in certainties. Remember how you said that the Cowboys definitely will not franchise Spencer?

The only reason they franchised Spencer was to buy more time to work out a long-term deal.

The Cowboys will not be going after any big-time FA's. Choose to believe it or not to.

A long term deal actually makes more cap room though. So does cutting Free and Connor or making them take pay cuts. I don't know what they will do in free agency myself.

People certainly make mistakes, hence why people should rarely, if ever, speak in absolutes.

Just FYI, I'm an attorney, and the constitution totally does not say that.

For an internet forum that welcomes opinions and one that I've been a member of since 2004, I don't believe I violated any freedom of speech restrictions. Carry on, buddy.
