Biggest counter argument I always use is the 2000 ravens. Over half the historic defense was free agents including the entire dline, 2 Olineman, a receiver, starting QB, both tight ends

Any serious team will use every available avenue to improve their team…draft, FA, trades.
Our family run FO is lazy and just doesn’t prioritize winning, not to mention being incompetent.
