Miles Sanders to the Cowboys. Last two years under 4.0 yards per carry. He still have anything left?
I think it’s clear the tread on his tires is pretty thin.

I find it kinda weird how intrigued the Cowboys seem to be the last couple of years with RBs who are not statistically very accomplished, at the end of their careers, and finally, cheap.

Our hope at RB rests in the draft.

Talented guy but needs to be constantly pushed and prodded by coaches and teammates to perform at his best. Thought he might be an option for Dallas but not mad he signed elsewhere.
Talk about a guy who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. He was all but scrapped, won a ring, got paid.

Maybe it's the GT fan in me, but vikings got a good deal for Mason.

Trade and contract extension wise. He was criminally used in GT under the former coach

Makes you think SF could steal Jeanty right before us. He would rush for 2,500 on that offense….
Good. I don’t want a RB in the first round. This draft is deep with RBs. Snag one in the 2nd round. Unless a can’t miss stud is there at 12 I would prefer to move back and either pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick. We still have quite a few holes to fill and dumb and dumber still refuse to go after STARTERS in free agency

So far that's 7 free agents and 2 trades.

Quantity over quality.

Some of the deals I like but just signing someone because he was a first rounder, or signing someone for the vet minimum doesnt negate not spending.

There were quality players there for the taking. Cowboys went cheap. 7 guys. 3-4 camp bodies 3 starters maybe.
Exactly.

Looks like them getting hammered all year about being “all in” while doing virtually nothing got to them.

Now they signed multiple low end / washed scrubs instead of just a couple.

Yeah its much like Royce Freeman, Dalvin Cook and Zeke last year. They were all washed and only Zeke saw the field, even though he shouldnt have.

It’s just flat bizarre. Offering RBs averaging 3.6 ypc any kind of FA deal - even cheap - is a waste of cap space. I would feel way better if we just put our RB chips into the draft.

Two good rookie RBs with upside, energy and less cost is way better than throwing these one year FA contracts to guys who are driving on bald tires.

Nothing is stopping them from drafting 2 running backs.

yeah and they putt mcafferey on the block and ask for a 3rd round pick, we give them a first next year, and the following year!

These are the kind of deals that really show the Cowboys front Office has no clue as to what they are doing.
