Darren Sproyles from San Diego is an UFA and would
upgrade us as a Return Man. The times I watched him he
was very impressive.

do you honestly think that san diego is gonna let him go, when he was doing so well towards the end of the season. he would be nice but i'm sure he is gonna stay with the chargers.

No kidding. Not only is Sproles a playmaker on ST, but he is an ace on offense as well, especially with LT playing like a shadow of his former self the last few seasons.

No way that the Chargers let him walk.

No way do they lose Turner and Sproles in back to back years.

Your reasons alone would make them fools to let sproles go. Turner was just as Probowler for atlanta.

We don't have KO return problems. We have a guy named Felix something that is pretty good.

Yeah, with 3 good running backs on the roster, and a need to add depth to the OL, the DL, probably back up QB, maybe Safety, ILB,etc... and we should splurge on a guy like Sproles.

With the emergence of Choice on offense, Felix Jones will be running back kick offs. He was deadly back there before he got hurt.

Come on.

And if he leaves SD, he's going to go somewhere where he can compete for a starting spot. He was more than good last year.

Draft Mike Thomas of Arizona on Day 2 somewhere and he can do PR duties quite well.

Ah yes, I vaguely remember a certain #28 who looked to be a stud in the return game...

There's a guy where as far as I remember ran a pretty slow 40. But if you watch him play, he's fast and he's quick.

Totally agree Hos, Thomas is a good option to return punts. I thnk he could work his way into being a pretty solid/explosive slot guy too.

Austin, Felix, Jenkins, Stanback, and Scandrik. I think we have enough on the roaster who are capable of returning.

He's fearless and elusive.

Loves catching the ball over the middle.

He'd be a good addition. If we could get him around round 5 or so, not a shabby pick up.

Punt returns have been a problem for us. I don't really think we should put Newman back there (and we haven't). Crayton is okay as he doesn't really make any mistakes, but he never seems to break a big play.

I'll give you a pipedreamers pass on this one. Sproyles is not even a possibilty.

Anyway, wasn't Felix doing just fine at KO returns before the injury?

No, no no.

Which one of our 3 backs are you not carrying on game day so that you can put Sproles on the roster?

Felix is our KR when he's healthy and has already proven he's darn good at it so this would be a waste of a roster space and money here.
