and if we can find a solid NT prospect like k.gregg or colin cole who wouldn't cost too much but could either start at NT or at least provide solid relief for Ratliff

uke: He might actually be a decent fit in our system because he can do some of the same things as Romo, but the guy is a clown. His teammates don't like him and he falls apart under pressure. Anybody but him.

I agree , but you got a pretty limited free-agent crop at QB this year . When Jeff Garcia and Rex Grossman are your top two free-agent options , then it's pretty poor . I'm just looking at a young guy who has no limits on the passes he can make . I'd like to see Dallas take a QB in the 4th or 5th round this year , but I don't want him to be the immediate backup , and I sure as hell don't want Bollinger or Johnson back .

I think Rex Grossman would be a perfectly serviceable backup QB.

I like him too and he'd be cheaper...he does run his mouth like a dummy sometimes though but i think his dumb comments get hidden by Porter's verbal antics.

You DO NOT want JP Losman. I know first hand. He couldn't hold a clip board for me. Strong arm, no clock in his head, 1st read only then run. He is football dumb all the way.

I'd say any of you thinking there are going to be major free agent signings involving us are going to be sorely disappointed.

We may sign a couple of lower tier free agents, but thats about it.
