We have to spend some money this coming off-season. In no way am I saying this seasons over I still think we finish 10-6.
However, we need to spend some money on this defense. Not every free agency signing has to be someone whose immensely overpaid. Look at what Denver did. Free agency can be a great thing if your scouting department does their job which I believe ours would. We’re wasting guys like Dez, Witten, Lee, and formerly Tonys career.
The draft is how you build a team. We’re doing that pretty darn well. But you gotta spend a little too. Building through the draft truly makes it a process. Hitting on a free agent or two can expedite that process.
