Now that Janorris Jenkins has gone to the Giants, the market should begin to tighten a little.

There are big fish like Casey Heyward and Prince Amukamara that will get the big money.

So unless Dallas decides to get in the game, there will be limited options. Obviously signing Claiborne back is one of them.

But the Texans did something a little odd, they did not tender restricted FA A.J. Bouye with a draft pick. He started a few games last year and had a couple of picks.

Might be an option.

Sean Smith is the best CB out there at the moment, but with 49ers and Raiders bidding over him, I'm guessing he'll get a big contract.

We absolutely will fill our holes in the secondary with players but, we won't be bidding and we won't be
paying out a 7-10mil contracts for CB's. That is not the Stephen and Jerry way these days. Wait till
the end of next week and look to see who's left. That will be the shelf we will be picking through.

You want cheap but decent?

Leon Hall would be a guy I'd look at. He's older at 31 but you could probably get him on a short deal.

Would not mind this as well. Veteran guy in our secondary and it would still make sense to draft a secondary player, if the right prospect is there.

He graded out pretty well last year but Cincy wants to go in a different direction. You sign him to a 2 year deal around 2-3MM per and you have a guy you can get solid play out of opposite Scandrick. Then you can draft another CB in the draft mid-rounds and let him develop and add some depth.

I suspect the Cowboys have no interest due to his age though. Their focus seems to be on cheap and young.

Scandrick at one CB, Hall at the other.

Mitchell in the slot or even sign another cheap option, maybe like Brandon Boykin who was a good slot guy for the Eagles. Or resign Claiborne on the cheap.

Then draft someone like Russell in the 4th or 5th round, guy with a high ceiling but has questions, or DJ White from GTech.

Find a safety opposite of Jones and suddenly you have yourself a secondary much better than the slop you trotted out in 2015.

Or they could just get Ramsey or a corner at the top of the 2nd round and pay them nothing compared to whats on the open market.

I think that is what they'll do.

Meanwhile we're going to be really upset watching Carson Wentz kill it in a couple of years.

Ramsey will be a All Pro though.

Claiborne shouldnt even be an option. Seriously

Claiborne, at the right price, should be an option.

People need to just let go of the fact he was the 6th pick.

Just look at the player he is now and he is definitely a decent 3rd CB, spot starter at the right price.

I suspect we draft a CB and sign one. I don't think we use an early pick though
That said I think you can cover a weakness in the secondary with a pass rush. Now I expect us to load up on dline guys in this draft. 2 of the top 3 if not all 3
the real key is pass rush if you want a dominate defense
