from the Daily Turd:

ONLY 12 TEAMS HAVE SIGNED FREE AGENTS

Through nearly two days of free-agency activity, only 12 of the 32 NFL teams have signed a player who spent 2006 with a different team.

To monitor all of the signings, be sure to check out our 2007 Free Agency Movement tracker.

If you know of a signing that you don't see on the list, let us know.

Well, that's weird.

There's:
San Francisco
Washington
Cleveland
Tampa Bay
New England
Kansas City

That's all I can remember off the top of my head. A pretty fair sampling of doormats, middle-of-the packs, and playoff teams.

I guess there's no reason to panic. This just isn't a great year for FAs.

I suppose in your own primitive way, you were trying to make a point here.

But it fails on anyone who can think.

There have been only 12 teams of 32 to sign free agents. That means practically nothing. That just means they were more daring or had more money.

Now, on to the real point.

Seven of the twenty-eight to switch teams were offensive linemen. That is a healthy twenty-five percent ratio.

That is what is bothering people, especially when it wasn't a deep group of OL to begin with.
