Love it, but flip the contracts

Love it!

Would trade Randle for Coles instead. Don't think we need another LB if we resign Ro with Hitch developing.

Jags 3rd: DE Hau'oli Kikaha 6'3 255 4.7 - nix the deal, luxury pick with coples and Hardy

Would take that too, but would Murray? Hardy is still on NFL shaft list so may take less for shorter term.

They would be better off bringing Joe Namath out of retirement

You mean this Joe Namath

When I said flip I meant the player getting g the most money. I think around 30 ish is good for Murray depends on years. Somewhere in that 30+ range hell be able to find enough guaranteed money to satisfy him. Again considering number of years. I like that money range for Hardy in the 40s with a decent amount of years and less guaranteed cash.

With the other FA you got, plus the draft in the 1st 3 I'd put some money down in Vegas. I like your offseason so much, I'd take it a step further with the money we freed up. Snatch Pat Robinson for some DB help, along with Carr taking a pay cut. That's a reasonable offseason money wise if you ask me. You're on to something!

I doubt the Jets want Weeden

Likely targeting Mariotta, he has Slash like abilities. And Chan likely wants nothing Dallas related on his team, but Weeden has better tools than Geno Smith. He is actually more accurate and has a bigger arm. If Weeden were 26, he would be highly sought out. His problem is that he is an inexperienced QB on the wrong side of 30. Jets need an upgrade at QB, even if they draft one early, they need a vet to keep the seat warm. It does not hurt to ask. The future pick is the bigger enticement IMO.

I'd argue that based on performance, he wouldn't be, but either way, he isn't 26. And fwiw, the Jets don't seem to big on Mariotta, I think he could be in for fall. Won't slip past Cleveland imo, but will fall

Jets would be crazy not to take Mariotta but who knows.
