Bledsoe- A
A. Glenn- C+
Ferguson- B
Rivera- C
Henry- A
Price- Incomplete

All in all I would say our free agent money was well spent this past offseason. Rivera is the biggest disappointment due to the money he has making and the expectations we all had.

I'd give Ferguson a A, our running game is stout, as well as the 3-4, and it all starts at NT

Fergi is never going to get props -- he doesn't put up fantasy numbers and that's all many people understand. It looked to me last week that he and Glover were destroying a very good interior line.

And that NT for most of the time? Glover.

I would downgrade Glenn...his PI last week was a back breaker...and also, who could forget the Washington game.

He has done some good things as well but my grade for him would be a "C".

I'd still give him an A, he has been everything Parcells thought he would be when he gave him that huge check

I don't think people understand that Ferguson isn't a guy that was brought in for sacks. We haven't played just the 3-4, we've played some 4-3 with Ferg and Glover at the DT positions and he has done a great job of disrupting running plays and clogging holes.

and why can Glover be so stout in the middle? because he's playing far fewer snaps than in previous years because of ..... fergi

I wouldn't downgrade A. Glenn, as a matter of fact I got him at a B or B plus. Lets not forget the INT in San Diego and he is one of the reasons the defense held down T.O. and the Hawks rec corp. Furthermore, he provides the defense with depth and flexibility. Imagine Reeves or anyone else in the nickel package.

I agree with you on Glenn, I expected him to play better than he has for the most part.

The other grades are pretty reasonable.

I have Glenn higher, around B... he has been there on some crucial defensive plays..
other than that, the grades are fair..

Don't forget, Glover has made the probowl for the last 3 years. Fergi has helped, but it's not like Glover hasn't been great for a while.

I think Rivera deserves the worst grade out of all of them. I havent been impressed by his play at all.

As for Fergi, as a runstopping DT, you'll never get the credit you deserve from the media, but you gotta know Parcells is loving him.

Glenn has been ok and all DBs get pass interference called against them. He did blow it against Santana Moss in the Commander game, hell he admitted it himself.

Still, he is a more than serviceable nickel corner.

Rivera has looked bad at times -- but he has been huge in helping develop Petitti. Keep in mind, he's playing in between some very young players - he's going to look bad at times adjusting for their mistakes.
