I didn't see the game, but I keep hearing about how screwed we are at NT. Who is on the market?

No Junior Savaii is the really the answer. The light went on after three years out of the league at age 31.:laugh2:

I had blind optimism on him, simply becasue of Wade's belief of him.

No more. We need help at NT badly.

I hope we can pull of a Montrae Holland trade and offer a 5th for a backup that somebody doesnt want.

You know it's bad when you yearn for the days of Tank Johnson.
Eeeek!

Never. Tank was awful at NT too. We need to just find someone that's like 6'9 400lbs, benches 600, runs a 4.6 40, squats a grand, and has a 50" vert. :laugh2:

We need Buehler to play NT basically.

Yeh, Houck talking up the reserve O Line this week too. That and three dollars will get you a cup of coffee.

I would love for people on this thread to tell me what plays Siavii gave up down the middle and how he was blocked on those plays:laugh2:

Admittedly, Savaii is an average player at best, and he did nothing to ameliorate his standing during tonight's game.

However, Mickey stated that the Cowboys were struggling against the run because of the linebackers, not the defensive linemen.

Savaii may not be the culprit we think he is.

didn't look bad out there. As a back up guy, he's pretty decent. The problem was the LBs behind him not making plays when they should have.

That is what I saw. The 2nd string LB's were completely out of position and used bad angles against the run.

From what I saw, Siavii looked a lot better than Anderson, but both backup inside linebackers played too soft. Not to mention that Dixon and Robinson kept getting blown back.

I didn't even noticed Dixon. Will look for him next time, but the 2nd D-line unit didn't show me much.

and that includes Jason Hatcher, whom I expect becoming at least a VERY good contributor and essential part of the rotation in his contract year.

Did he even played ?
