A lot of value is still left in free agency. I think Cowboys are still open to idea of bringing back Carr and Claiborne at the right place. In addition to those guys, some other names to watch:

Tackles

Austin Pasztor - Played guard and tackle. Played RT the 2nd half of year for Browns and was very solid. Only 26 years old.

Ryan Clady - Was one of best tackle's in football just a couple years ago. Has battled injuries

Sebastian Vollmer - Bad back, but still is good when he plays

Defensive Ends

Connor Barwin - Getting older and production has decreased, but still is a solid player

Devin Taylor - Only 27, good size and has had 58 QB hurries the last 2 years for the Lions

Demarcus Ware - Solid rotational pass rusher

Elvis Dumervil - Missed most of last year but still is solid rotational pass rusher

Inside Linebackers

Perry Riley - Had awesome year for Raiders. Much better in a 4-3 system. Good starter if Jaylon Smith isn't completely ready

Kevin Minters - Finally lived up to his hype this past year. Only 26.

Gerald Hodges - Young, talented kid that has upside. 3-down player that can have a role.

DeAndre Levy - 29 now and has battled injuries. But had 150 tackles last year. Still very talented when he plays.

Safeties

Ladarius Webb - Played safety last year and did very good job. Good cover guy still. But he is 31.

Bradley McDougald - Similar style player to JJ Wilcox, downhill physical guy who can be very good in the box. Only 26.

TJ McDonald - Had some off field concerns last year, but is good when he plays. Only 26 as well. Very physical and a huge hitter.

Would like to pickup

Barwin and mcdonald
Those two guys would definitely help. If we could get the, both on 2 year deals that we be perfect..
Barwin is a good locker room guy with a high motor. McDonald had an DUI arrest in January, I think.

Whichever of the safeties Will McClay wants and then DeMarcus Ware. Then see if some targets of opportunity drop in price like Cordarelle Patterson, a newly cut OT or a good backup RB.

Then draft CB, S, DE and WR.

Is Zach Brown still available? Played well last year as an ILB in a 3-4, but maybe Marinelli can get him to play as a Sam in a 4-3 if he's cheap.

I would bring in Pasztor if he comes on a decent price. Let him compete for RT. If he loses he at least would be good depth as he can play three spots.

Sign DeMarcus Ware, TJ McDonald, Carr, and Claiborne... and bring on the draft.

Draft a starting guard and move outside either of our present guards.

If you're more than cost effective and really wish to beat the likes of this year's Giants, there you go. The cap will work out in the next two seasons, anyway.

I hear people mention an Aaron Williams at safety who apparently had injuries (neck?l). What if anything do you know about him?

No thanks to any of those bums....maybe a safety as insurance/special teams, but that's it.
Better players will be available after the draft.

Bring back Carr on a short team deal. Sign Ware and Clady to short term deals as well. I'm not relying on this years draft for a OT. We are picking at the end of the rounds and their are very few worthy OT this year. Also not reaching for one. If one falls in our lap then great. If not then you have Caldy, Green, and Cleary to keep RT patched up for the season.

Find a SS in the draft that can start shouldn't be hard to do either. As long as we draft you know an actual safety and not another running back converting to safety. smh.

When did Ware become so awesome again? We cant find another person to do rotation duty? What happened to progress stopping? Or the fans a few years ago who wanted Ware gone? How did a player getting older make him better?
