Free Agent WR Brandin Cooks says Dallas doesn't do enough to help Dak Prescott

Cowboys $106 million free-agent WR says Dallas doesn't do enough to help Dak Prescott

Free agency has started and the Dallas Cowboys are once again continuing their frugal ways, which means there isn't much help coming for the highest paid player on the team. Quarterback Dak Prescott is the lightning rod for both the Cowboys' successes and failures, but according to wide receiver Brandin Cooks, it's the organization that needs to step up their game, not Prescott.

In an interview with DLLS Sports, the free agent WR who's made over $106 million across his career and played with Prescott the past two seasons, believes the organization isn't doing enough to put the franchise QB in the best position to win.

Where is the dislike button. Maybe Dak should have signed a more team friendly deal to help them provide more help

Um.....yeah.

You DO understand.....don't you, Brandin......you were supposed to be that help.

But thanks for those 3 catches a game for 34 yards.

I hate when someone calls another person, trash....for something trivial like a game. I save that term for liars, cheats, murderers and those that call them trash
Thank you! I totally agree! Hey, you might not like the way the player performs on the football field, but calling a good human being trash? Come on!

I would agree.

Playing OL out of position, a poor run game/backfield, mediocre WRs and so-so TEs (mostly 2nd-4th stringers on other teams), and defenses that can't hold leads

It’s just bad strategy.

To invest all that money in the QB is a major commitment. To turn around and refuse to maximize his window by making some comparatively minor investments in his supporting cast simply nullifies the purpose of the massive QB contract.

If you are that tight on money, just stick to rookie QB contracts and swap em out every 4 years.

If he needs that much help he should have taken a much much lower contract and ask team to get that help .

we had a wr corp with amani cooper, ceedee lamb, michael gallup, elliot, pollard and dalton schuktz and he couldn’t get it done.

Thank you! I totally agree! Hey, you might not like the way the player performs on the football field, but calling a good human being trash? Come on!
Me too! I hate it when those people say ugly things! I get triggered when they start mean-mouthing great human beings!

So he's accepting that he shouldnt be a WR2? Brandin, we know he needs more, the issue is he needs more of EVERYTHING. As your Franchise QB gets really expensive, he should be taking the added responsibility, to go with his paycheck.
I don't think he's saying that. However, it seems he's talking about coaching, playcalling, and strength and conditioning departments.
