Besides Deion Sanders, who was the Cowboys biggest free agent signing? We discussed it today at work. Jerry doesn't play in the major free agent market like many people believe.

Damn. Its kinda true. He doesn't make that huge of a splash in free agency like everyone believes.

T.O definitely is up there

T.O is the only one I can think of. The trades he makes is the problem. He gave up 3 first rounders between galloway and Roy

While he was gotten in a trade rather than picked up as a free agent, Charles Haley was one of the biggest off season additions we've ever made.

La'roi Glover was a pretty big deal considering we were pretty crappy at the time

Leonard Davis was a pretty big free agent signing and worked out very well for a few years. Too bad he tailed off so much.

I think it was a trade but... I think Charles Haley was really important at that time. It was a great part of our success in the 90's.

Was Haley a FA or trade? Nm...got scooped twice

Charles Haley came in a trade. I had forgotten about Glover. He wasn't good pick up in free agency. TO was a great player, but teams were not lining up his door because of his problems with his two previous teams. I put Galloway behind Primetime because Galloway had been a great player for the Seahawks. Injuries prevented him from being a great player with the Cowboys and unfortunately Aikman got hurt.

Deion is the biggest, TO would easily be second, third I think would probably be Rocket.

Eddie George was a big name but past his prime though

There was the day a few years ago that Jerry called the most expensive day in the history of the Cowboys when he signed Marco Rivera, Jason Ferguson and Anthony Henry. Man, I totally forgot about Anthony Henry, that wasn't even THAT long ago
