Free expected to miss 2 weeks

It's never a good time for injuries, but why now? We may be withou Free, Martin and Murray in these two critical games. We need to win out despite the injuries.

Frick - we have to find some way to win this week

The Colts have not looked good the last 2 weeks. Had they faced a team with a decent QB, they would have lost both games. The next 2 weeks come down to Romo making enough plays to win.

I think Dunbar and Randle will be able to do enough on the ground to keep teams honest, and we should have enough firepower to get the job done. Remember: The Colts have nothing to play for, and our season is on the line. I think we win out and finish as the #3 seed.

Last night's win was huge and having a few injuries will actually keep them focused that much more on getting the job done and not taking anything for granted. I'm not saying I'm glad there's injuries by any stretch-- but I just don't think it's that big of a deal.

Good teams win-- even with injuries.

They have seeding to play for.

Sorta. From what I understand, the chances of them getting anything better than a 3 seed are pretty remote at this point.

Correct. It requires craziness. They are pretty much entrenched.

Patriots play the Jets, Patriots will probably win. Denver plays the Bengals, but they play at 8:30PM so the Colts wont know the results as they play us at 4:15 PM. I highly doubt they bench any of their players.

They are basically going to need these teams to lose twice, right? Don't see that happening. Not to mention Denver plays home at Oakland in the last game of the season. Indy is trying not to drop to the 4th seed if anything because they aren't catching those first two.

But that isn't the point. Indy won't rest their guys this game. They still have seeding to play for and yes it's unlikely they get a better seeding. The Colts will play us, and if by chance the Bengals upset the Broncos, both teams will be playing and not resting their starters in week 17.

What I'm trying to say is, there's still a chance for better seeding and they aren't sitting out for this game.

Edit -- Technically in week 17, the colts play the titans at 1. If they lose, Denver will rest their starters as they keep their seeding.

Many possibilities, I wouldn't minimize the loss of player that accounts for more than a third of our yardage and a guy that he runs behind. I was there last night and it was a huge win, but I don't think that the 2-3 injuries to our best unit are not a big deal.
