Well, I guess Newman never did anything positive for the Cowboys, from reading these comments. I was never a big Newman fan, but I don't feel he deserves to be the butt of jokes like this. It's a free country, though.

For the record, I really appreciated TNew. If the jokes are good-natured, I don't have a problem with them. It's the same thing I'd say to my own teammate if I were goofing on him.

Like you I wouldn't say anything that wasn't good natured or say about myself or my teammates. I got burned plenty of times, part of the game.
