I read the latest Dan Brown book so I know they rule the world but they also scare the crap out of me.

Masons both attract and repel.

There'd be so many blackballs in the box and Bob's Masons membership voting meeting, it'd look like a Eunuch convention in Haiti.

The Freemasons do not rule the world. There just happen to be a lot of Freemasons in high places. Of course, there are a whole lot more that aren't Freemasons that also hold high offices. There is a history behind the Freemasons that *was* quite secretive, but back in the 1300/1400s it had to be as if you've read anything about the time. Just saying something that someone else didn't agree with, could get you killed. Many of the greatest scientific minds back then where Freemasons so they could discuss their science without worrying about being jailed or killed.

Today, the Freemasons are only a fraternity of men with like moral values, but not necessarily the same religion. Those like values equate to men whom strive to become better men and enjoy the camaraderie of others with the same moral values. The closest thing to secrets are the Masonic rituals and how one Freemason may know another if they have never met, but the funniest thing about it is, none of it is actually a secret. All of that information can be found on the Internet or in books you can buy at any book store.

I would suggest you visit a Masonic Lodge and meet a few of them. You probably know a few Freemasons and don't even realize it. There are a few floating around here at CowboysZone.

my grandfather on my mothers side was in the masons and once got flung out of their lodge for singing the forty shades of green on the karaoke as it was deemed "fenian rebel pish" so no the masons are not for me.

But could he hold a note....

Anyone ever thought about joining a Masonic Lodge? Looks interesting.

I'm not a man of reputable character, so I can't join, but still.

:laugh2:

Masons: "Hello Bob, we're here to go over your application of submission to the Freemason Society."

Sacamono: "He puts the lotion on it's skin."

Masons: Errrr..........
