Freeney to Falcons

There's a line that comes to mind:

If you snooze, ya lose...

Guess what comes next?

Tells you everything about Dallas' front office. It's clear they don't know what to do.

They have almost ruined Romo chances of winning a Super Bowl in my opinion by being an incompetent front office. Romo deserves better.
They are just veteran adverse.

They feel much better pretending young players will magically develop.

That's going to make it just a little bit tougher to pick him up when we figure out these young defensive ends aren't good for more than maybe a couple of sacks each this season.

Well, they do need to develop them, just not at the expense of making sure they have a pass rush if the development is slow or doesn't work out.

We used to be a team that valued having proven vets over developing young players. Now, we're the opposite. There's got to be something between those two extremes.

Yeah, there's always exceptions to the rule and I think in our case Freeney would've been the exception.

Especially when we are hurting with the pass rush.

Gotta love the arrogance of a team that wants to "see what we have" before making a move.

Guess what boneheads? By the time you're ready to make your move, the cupboard's bare!

The NFL doesn't wait on the Dallas Cowboys.

Was passionate about them signing him to be a mentor to the young guys on the roster, really can't see a downside to the signing. It's going to be a cheap deal that you could walk away from if need be and he didn't perform. I think it's another big miss from a personnel standpoint.

The FO better know what they doing. Because as of now we do not have proven DE to start for us on game 1.
