We do owe a lot of our land, culture, and freedom (Revolutionary War) to France. It seems to upset you. That makes no sense.
We also had to fight them more than once. They were only out for themselves.

I can just imagine a past culture stumbling across something like this and taking it as some supernatural phenomenon.

The reporter seriously needs to be scolded for attempting to be sensationalistic. That clearly orange. :D

Is Louisiana not a state, is Louisiana not French origin?
I'm pretty sure it existed before it was their "territory."

Salt doesn't turn anything red. The phytoplankton or bacteria living inside the brine is what causes the red hue. I've done a little research on natural salt production and this sort of thing is incredibly common.

and this is why Canada is Canada and no one takes them seriously or perceives them to be any type of global threat whatsoever.

before Louisiana was the Louisiana Territory, it was merely land that was inhabited by Native Americans.

BTW, based on your stupid comment, that would mean Mexico is also our motherland, since we got Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California from them.

We only have 1 motherland, England. And to the British, I say Piss Off you Bloody Wankers. I am thankful to the French for helping us in our efforts against Britian, but make no mistake about it, France did it not for us, but for them. France does for France....and they hate the English, so they helped us throw a huge dent in the armor of the British Global efforts.

As far as the Louisiana Purchase, we raped the French, but they really had no interest in the territory, as they had other issues in Europe to deal with. I do appreciate the Statue of Liberty.....what a magnificent sculpture and iconic symbol for everything we should represent as a nation.

One more thing......doesn't it sting to know the US has taken your national game and dominated the way the Canadien teams no longer can......What do you think aboot that, aye?

I wonder if it is a dinoflagellate bloom similar to the red tide that occurs in oceanic waters
