1. That's a tough one...I'm not sure what constitutes a "classic" these days. For me, a classic would be "Goonies" or "The Princess Bride". Not so much for some... As far as movies that pre-date me, I'm a big fan of old spaghetti westerns. The Trinity series is awesome. I need to broaden my cenematic scope with some classics like "Citizen Kane" and "Casablanca"...I haven't had the pleasure yet.

2. Mostly Athletics. In high school I lettered in Football, Soccer, Baseball, Wrestling, Golf, and Tennis. I took some photos for the yearbook. In college I played Soccer and Rugby....and did a ton of different intramural sports....i.e. softball, indoor soccer, racquetball, beer olympics, etc.

3. My junior year of high school. My parents had me tested and worked their ***** off to get me into an elite boarding school in Alexandria, VA. I went, proceeded to ditch class to putz around in DC, and do nothing of any value outside of sports. I do it over in a heartbeat. I'd also redo my decision to join the military after my first semester of college.

4. Depends on too many factors. I find myself doing the small dinner party more often in my 30's though.

5. Talk to some guy in Homeland Security about going to work in Afghanistan. Taxes. Study.

1. What is your favorite classic movie?

Probably The Princess Bride (older than 20 years makes it classic!) I haven't watched many of the typical classic films, so I don't have much to choose from.

2. What extracurricular activities did you do while at school?

Swing Choir, Singers (like madrigal), I had the lead in Anything Goes our senior year.

3. If you could relive a year in your life, what age would it be, and why?

Probably around 24 years old. I was bartending at TGI Fridays with a fantastic group of people. We were so young and carefree, worrying more about getting to bed before the sun rose than anything else. Good times.

4. Would you rather go to a large party or a small dinner party?

Small dinner party

5. Plans for the (long) weekend?

Work on Saturday, who knows what else. The first weekend of the off season is always a little discombobulated. Hard to decide what to do with the time that was occupied by football.

Didn't do anything in highschool. It was a drag.

This age (almost 27). It's pretty fun.

Small dinner party.

Get a new desktop in a few hours and job hunt all weekend. I've been posting from my iPhone since August 90% of the time.

3. Senior year of HS 17....I'd take it more seriously

4. Small.....I'm not a big crowd person

So when he said "classic" you really took it seriously.:p:

Congrats on your new arrival this past year. It got me to thinking, I chose a a year where I would a right a few wrongs (ex. 1.3 mill stk mrk loss) but others (including you) chose the positive redos. Good stuff. My son is now 21 mos old and 2008 (is birth year) was fantastic as a result.

What can I say, even though Charlie Chaplin was way before my time, I grew up watching his movies. Still my favorite actor ever.

It never even occurred to me to think of things I would have changed for the better. In hindsight there are a few things i would have changed. But the worst year in my life was 1997 although there wasn't much I could have done about it. I cannot even tell you all the bad things that happened to me. The clincher for me was somehow contracting chicken pox at the age of 27 even though i was vaccinated for it as a child. I didn't know what the hell I had, maybe some sort of a plague:D . Toward the end of that year, I would just start laughing when things kept going wrong. I just didn't know what else to do. I just hoped I was getting all the bad karma out of the way in a single year.

Congrats on you son as well. I can not wait my little one gets old enough to chase around. He is 5 months old now.

1: Tie between "Cool Hand Luke" and "Little Big Man"

2: Football and some tennis. Also, does chasin' tail count as "extracurricular activities"? :p:

3: I'd say somewhere around the ages of 10-12, simply becuse I miss that period of blissful, carefree awareness.

4: I'd rather go to a large party, but host a small one.

5: Hopefully watch the sun melt snow! And unfortunately, clear some VERY large downed limbs from my backyard.
