1. What is the absolute worst experience you have ever had in an automobile?

I got t-boned while delivering pizza. The person was coming out of a parking lot and making an illegal left turn. It was actually my bosses car I was driving. He ended up being very happy, because the transmission was going on the car and he was just going to drive it until it stopped running. He got book value for the car which was way more than it was worth mechanically.

2. What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?

Rollercoasters. I like the ones like the Batman ride, where you come out of the holding area and go straight to the track and down. I am scared of heights, and riding the kind that have to tick-tick-tick to the top of the big hill scare the crap out of me. I have to close my eyes. :\

Try to catch some fireworks at the fairgrounds, do a little yard work

1. What is the absolute worst experience you have ever had in an automobile? The correct answer actually doesn't involve me, but that would be cheating. I would have to say in 1990 when I was going to the movies with some friends we got rear ended and then the guy took off. A buddy of mine who was following in another vehicle took off after the guy and got his plate #. The two girls in my car and I all had back injuries. He raised the back end of my car 4 feet off the ground. I was doing 40. The police thought he was doing at least 80.

2. What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride? The Khali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom at Disney World. My oldest daughter and I rode it about 6 straight times and got soaking wet. It was a riot.

3. Are you usually happier with candid photos of you, or photos you’ve posed for? Candids.

4. If you could have known one of your current friends as a child, who would you pick? Adbutcher. If we had known each other as kids it would mean we played football together, and I think he and I would have been holy terrors who pushed each other even further than we already went.

5. Plans for the long weekend? Up on the roof to watch the fireworks at A Mountain. You can see it perfectly from our roof. No need to get stuck in traffic. Carne asada or shish kabobs for dinner; we haven't decided yet.

1. I was a passenger and we were on 183 about to take the 121 northbound split towards the north end of the airport. A car decided at the last second that it too wanted to go north too and clipped our front end causing us to slam into a concrete barrier then back across the road and we flipped seven times down the hill, took out a giant lamp post and ended up upside down on 183. After all that, we only ended up with bumps, scratches and I had about 12 stitches in my left pinky finger.
2. Roller Coasters of course! All of them!
3. None, I'm not very photogenic.
4. My closest friends I have known since I was a child.
5. We got a hotel in the city and are bring the kids to watch the fireworks Sunday night. It will be hot this weekend, so swimming in the backyard is a must.

1. Hit by a drunk driver 2 years ago while driving my parents' vehicle. My parents, and three of my kids were with me. It was 8 a.m. and the guy was driving a Wrangler. I could see him literally about to fall out of the side of the jeep. Luckily, he was trying to turn and just bumped us pretty good. I jumped out and he took off. I got his license plate number, and the cops found him the next day, but said they had no proof at that point. I'm still pissed. I have no tolerance for drunk drivers.

5. Spend some time with my kids, clean house with the family, work.

1. been lucky, probably getting up at 4 in the morning when i was about 5 or 6 for a 3 hour car journey to get a ferry up to uist with me and my younger brother and sister in the bag with our sickbags. my folks must have had the patience of saints.

4. all my close friends i've known since childhood, maybe a soppy answer and say my girlfriend.

5. working tonight. tomorrow going for a days falconry then working again tomorrow night. try and avoid finding out the germany v argentina score and watch it when i get in from work at 4am then laze about all day sunday. back to work on monday

1. What is the absolute worst experience you have ever had in an automobile?

Arriving at Gatwick, London, England after a long overnight flight (no sleep), arriving dead tired, and going to my Hertz rental car...I had never driven on the "wrong side of the road" before, and was just arriving for a 3-month work assignment. The itsy bitsy car (Ford Focus) was a standard transmission...boggle. Sat in car for half an hour working up the nerve to pull in to traffic for a 2.5 hour drive to Northampton. Finally did, and got behind another car and basically just was a lemming. If he had driven off a cliff, I would have been right behind him. It was a terrifying first, long drive!

2. What is your favorite carnival/amusement park ride?

Bumper cars, just 'cause in Germany I once ended up in one with a young hot French chick. She didn't speak a word of English, nor German, and I spoke no French...but somehow we ended up in the middle of the ride floor, not driving around, but in total lip lock for like two entire rides Never even got her name.

Candid I guess.

4. If you could have known one of your current friends as a child, who would you pick?

Nobody comes to mind.

5. Plans for the long weekend?

Probably go see Strasburg pitch again tomorrow...NASCAR...mucho beer...perhaps the cultural event on the National Mall in DC (it's Asian now, and I love me some Asian...)

Got hit near the gas tank on the highway. The force of it spun me twice.
