Dallas and I used to play the same MUD together years ago. Though while we knew of each other, we didn't exactly know each other back then.

1. Sometimes I sing the "State Farm" jingle.

2. 95%. There was a dark time in which I was afraid that 5% would end up being my undoing, but I got through by the grace of something divine.

3. The ability to seek out and blaze any path that you desire without barriers or obstacles imposed on you by some 3rd party unrelated to the general environment.

4. Probably in middle school, using the middle school phone book to call a girl that I had a crush on.

5. Weight lifting (finally, the exam period is over), spring cleaning, enjoying my delicious barbacoa tacos (PM for recipe, it turned out phenomenal), flag football, and The Avengers.

Mostly. There are a few times that I've definitely had to roll with whatever came my way, though.

Getting in the car and driving....just driving to drive, seeing what you see.

Hard to say, although I still have current phone books. I have no idea why.

5. What's on deck for the weekend?

Driving to see a dog at a rural animal shelter. Our daughter really wants a dog and once that seed has been sown, it cannot be un-sown. Truth be told, I absolutely adore the dog already. I hope she likes us, too.

At some point I also need to get the lawn mowed before Tarzan moves in and starts swinging around vine to vine.

1. Do you ever find yourself singing advertising jingles? Hardly ever. But I find that I am frequently getting songs stuck in my head these days. So much so that I've become curious about whether a particular factor(s) creates that tendency. ie does stress increase that liklihood?

2. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? Interesting ask. I'll say this - I've been very deliberate in what I've sought - and found.

3. How would you describe ‘freedom’ in your own words? Concisely? Absence of bondage.

4. When did you last get info out of a phone book? Yellow pages in the last year for mower repair.

5. What's on deck for the weekend? I hope productivity, for my job, as next week is big for me and I need a head start.
