Thirty years ago.

2. Where’s the best place you ever went camping?

My friend's back yard. Coincidentally, the only place I've ever gone camping.

3. What did you last view on public television or listen to on public radio?

Some kids show on PBS probably.

4. What is your favorite thing to cook on the grill?

Steaks

Nothing major planned. Working Sunday.
 
1. When did you last sleep in a tent? Every year our Church does a Father's and Son's campout and even fathers who don't have sons and sons who don't have fathers are invited. This year (in fact just last wee) I took my dog and slept outside in a sleeping bag. Last year I took a tent.

2. Where’s the best place you ever went camping? Riggs Lake on Mt. Graham. In fact I'm headed there in 2 weeks.

3. What did you last view on public television or listen to on public radio? I am not 100% sure what public radio is, but since I haven't watched TV in a few months I'd have to say country music yesterday on the radio.

4. What is your favorite thing to cook on the grill? Steaks followed closely by Bratwursts. I am cooking bbq chicken on the grill tonight.

5. What's on deck for the long weekend? Moving and Church.

  1. Probably 15 to 20 years ago.

  3. I suppose the last thing was the local weather radio station.
  4. Baby Back Ribs and Cheddarwurst or Bratwurst
  5. Original plans got derailed. I'm sure some Diablo 3 and work around the house is in order.

1. Two weeks ago in Big Bend National Park. I did a 3 day solo backpacking trip on the Dodson Loop trail.

2. Probably Glacier National Park in Montana. I spent 6 days climbing and backpacking there in 2009. I was in Denali for two weeks working on a trail crew for student conservation, but it was work more than camping. Snake River in Idaho was really cool too.

3. I watched a special on Johnny Carson on PBS a few weeks back. It was great! I feel sorry for people who didn't get to grow up with Carson. Lenno and Conan suck!

4. I make a pretty mean fish taco.

5. Yard work, kayak fishing, and probably grilling a mean fish taco.

3. ....what is public television? I don't listen to public radio, only satellite radio.

4. Ribs or Steaks

5. Not even sure really. Going to see Avengers and MIB3...other than that I think my parents are grilling but I'm not sure, haven't heard from them in a few days.
 
1. Too long ago to remember, maybe 25 years ago.

2. Someplace in PA that was private, so I'm not even sure it has a name.

4. What beats a steak??

5. Paint, sleep, clam bake, celebrate Memorial Day, maybe drive on up to West Point (having heard how cool it is from JBond and NYC) on Monday.

It had AC lol...and a lot of sand. It was like a huge maintenance tent with a bunch of cots in it. Dull roar of the generators helped me sleep, but the 0430 sunrise didn't help.

Sandstorms were fun too.

Last summer. Kids love that. Run an extension cord, watch scary movies and eat tons of junk.

Pecos river in New Mexico. Right where the Mora river and the Pecos river meet.

Depressing statistic on job opportunities for graduating college students.

4. What is your favorite thing to cook on the grill?

Iowa corn still in the husk and ribs.

5. What's on deck for the long weekend?

Building a 8' x 12' shed. Gotta get that crap out of my garage.
