2:37 pm Cowboys OT Pat McQuistan will be active for the first time this season as the backup tackle now that OT Doug Free is starting at right tackle. McQuistan will take Free's spot on the kickoff return in the back wedge. The Cowboys have been dressing seven offensive linemen each game.

2:31 pm Cowboys coach Wade Phillips was a little vague about whether RB Felix Jones would continue as the main man on the kickoff return against the Commanders. WR Kevin Ogletree has been working at the spot and did so today in special teams practice.

2:28 pm On the injury front for the Cowboys, K David Buehler (toe) looks to be okay and ready for action this weekend against the Commanders. Buehler has worked the past two days without problems. Buehler is tied for third in the in NFL with 17 touchbacks on kickoffs.

2:25 pm Weather issues have once again forced the Cowboys to hold practice today in their stadium. Coach Wade Phillips always looks forward to the opportunity to get some extra work there. The last time the Cowboys practiced in the stadium, they beat Seattle that week.
