Friday Draft
I think this is a great haul. What say you?
10.Caleb Farley
We get our speed CB. This kid has star written all over him. I feel like this helps our secondary immensely. Him working with Dan Quinn will also be great
42. Liam Eichenberg
We get our future LT and he can slide in at guard right away to get acclimated to game speed in the NFL. The last time we drafted a Notre Dame lineman it worked out pretty well.
74. Tyler Shelvin
Our run stuffing 1 tech we have needed forever. Shelvin has a knack for locating the ball and holds up well against double teams. Him Woods at 1T and Gallimore Hill at 3T and I feel much better about the DL as a whole.
99. Andre Cisco
People may hate this pick, he freelances a lot and gets caught looking at times. So did Earl Thomas until....Dan Quinn reined him in. I feel Quinn can make this kid into the next star safety. And we get our ballhawk center fielder.
114. Charles Snowden
This kid has length, and his long arms help him immensely in coverage getting into throwing lanes. He is not a liability in run support which is an upgrade in itself.
139. Chuba Hubbard
Eventual Zeke replacesment, and covers for Pollard when some team pays him as a starter next season. Hubbard is very patient and I feel like he would create a great 1-2 punch with Zeke.
177. Simi Fehoko
Big-play threat whenever his number is called. He has a big frame with an exceptional catch radius for the position. He plays with a competitive streak and is physically tough at the catch point. He has some straight-line speed that has helped him get separation. Also a great special teams edition
188. Malcolm Koonce
Lanky and long armed defender who has experience playing from both an upright and three point position. He’s efficient with using his length and hands with a consistent club-rip move that has become his go-to tactic as a pass rusher. Demonstrating adequate bend at the hips, he can lower his center of gravity and corner in order to win around the edge frame.
222. Trill Williams
Special teams player
234. Erroll Thompson
OLD SCHOOL THUMPER. That is all.
