Friday Practice Report: D Law - Questionable, Green and Wilcox ruled out

In December that is a very short injury list.
Yes, it is. Unfortunately, that list is more about the quality than the quantity. I'd feel a whole lot better with Mo and DL not on that list. But yes, even with those two on there, we're more fortunate than a lot of others.

JJ Wilcox will not play. DeMarcus Lawrence is questionable.

Lawrence had off-season back surgery, it obviously did not heal before this season started. Even with his 4 game suspension. Just like Tyron Smith, will have to "manage it" for the remainder of the year and hope that rest will allow it to heal fully. Same for Chaz Green and his foot/back.

welp, not like they were going to get much pressure anyways..

hope for some turnovers and ball hogging offense

I am inclined to use every draft pick we have this year on DEs. LOL.

Or, how about spending $100-200M on FAs like the NYG and have only 4 more sacks than the Cowboys right now (27 vs 23).

All we need to do is keep knuckleheads from getting suspended and hit on a draft pick or two. I don't think any of the rookie DL are doing a whole heck of a lot. The Jets are supposedly stacked at DL and have a whopping 20 sacks. Jets Richardson, Wilkerson, and Leonard Williams have a grand total of 10.5 sacks for the year so far.

We sure are going to miss Dlaw's presence. He's just causing mayhem in the backfield, that 1 sack on the season mayhem....
I heard Lawrence had something like 9 pressures against the Vikings, and Broaddus was saying that he had the best game out of anyone on the field and it wasn't even close.

He might not have any sacks but he has at least been somewhat disruptive lately.

I would agree but I at least notice 90 around the ball and If im noticing Im sure whoever is playing QB is noticing...

He isnt "elite and/or special" but hes good...very good when hes really into it

The back is worrisome and it will be an issue when it comes time for an extension.

But DeMarcus Lawrence showed what he could do last season when there was another legit DE on the other end of the line.

Tyrone Crawford isn't an edge rusher. He provides positive snaps against the run out there, but RTs aren't sweating him taking the corner.

We're relatively healthy. I don't know If Dlaw will play but we have a healthy roster in December which is good. Too bad our depth at DE is a bit shallow, but to have only two DL's on the list and both of them could easily play this weekend is quite remarkable after 12 games. Only Claiborne, Wilcox and Green are out and all three could come back next week, not to mention Collins and McFadden who could also become available. It seems everyone wants to be a part of this magical journey.

I think Lawrence plays. It's late in the season and smart to rest him. Let him mainly rush and he'll be good.

I think Demarcus Lawrence will give it a shot to play, gimpy back or not, according to Broaddus. We'll see. Looks like Church will be testing that formerly busted forearm in this game. Heath might also step into the fray as well. We may not get any sacks but if we can cause hurried throws from Eli, it would probably help significantly. We do have pass rushers capable of at least exerting pressure on a good day. Hope for the best.
