to David Allan Grier??

wow, talk about ressurrection the dead

good job Comedy Central, bringing back a never-was

David Alan Grier - a never was? Nah, he used to have a bit of fame when In Living Color was hot back in the day.

I was actually gonna check out the new show since by the time I caught on to Chappelle, he went on sabbatical.

I don't remember In Living Color, I was like 7 or 8 lol

but I do remember when I worked at a ski resort in Aspen, and the guy came in for dinner, and I didn't even care, another "famous" person who came in was that guy from Ghostbusters, the dorky one w/ the glasses, I had to check him out

I don't recall David Allan Grier in Ghostbusters.

In Living Color was a really good show and launched a whole bunch of today's stars.

That's where David Allan Grier's career started. He just couldn't sustain it. Kinda got lost in the wash of all the Wayans.

ah

but I'm talking about a different actor, the white, dorky guy w/ the glasses and the big nose, he came into my restaurant too, I went to get a look at him instead of Grier

You gotta look up "Men on Film". I give it two snaps up and a swirl

Harold Ramis? He's a nobody. Other than writing a couple of silly films like Animal House and Caddyshack, for starters.

Bob, I live in Colorado...how in the world did you get a ski resort job in Aspen? I'm jealous.

I loved In Living Color.

Jim Carey used to crack me up with his Fire Marshal Bill and Dysfunctional Home Show.

Of course, Homey was a favorite and I absolutely loved the skits with one of the Waynes brothers who played Anton the bum who always had that pickle jar.

Jamie Foxx was awesome on that show as well. Man, that was one talented cast.

Please tell me you rented them! That was one of the funniest shows Evah! The Wayne Brady skit was classic.

Few sketches have ever been funnier than Clayton Grigsby and Wayne Brady...

Those two and the Prince skit that Yeags mentioned were the best ones IMO.

David Alan Grier as "The Wino", in the "Snackin' Shack" sketches was priceless.

"Jackie Robinson was an astronaut!"

"I can make a booger talk!"

"Barney Rubble goes both ways!"
