I say that b/c we cannot win by blitzing on every other down - the Giants have as good a set a weapons as you'll find - and Tiki on the check down is dangerous.
ALSO - we must double Plax - if at anytime he gets singles up with Ware or Davis - I will begin to sweat immensely.
Ware - Glover - Ellis - need to get it going big time - Espeically Ellis whose been way too quiet IMO.

Couldn't agree more. Consistent non-blitz pressure makes the whole defense 500% better, although I think protecting Bledsoe is just as big a factor.

Pressure on the qb is a key to every game but I understand what you mean. I don't know about doubling Plax but I agree if he's matched up on Ware or Davis/Pile we are in trouble.

Pressure on the QB is no doubt one of the keys to winning this game. Another key component to this game is the OL play....we must continue to pass protect and last but not least ...run blocking has to be there. Give TT some holes to run through.

Henry or Newman can check Plax without help. We don't need to double him or Toomer. Henry is real good against the bigger WR's, it the small fast ones that give him trouble. Besides, thats why we signed Henry is to handle the big boys. Our secondary will be fine against them... We played mostly man last week against TO and Henry handled him just fine..

Don't forget Spears and Canty.

Always pressure young QBs.

Key today actually is stoping the run.

They are going to try and run over us - Spears, Canty, Ferguson need to be stout up front. Shanle, James need to plug middle and take out Tiki as a RECEIVER threat!

We need to blitz Roy and have him knock the snot out of Eli so he looks/feels like this after the hit.

Well Zman, If the babe comes with that feeling, where to sign up. I would love to feel that.

Another concern of mine is the toss up to Plax - Eli has gotten into a connection of firing the ball about 3 feet higher than normal and letting -Plax run and jump for it - there is no defense for that - ala old skool Harold Carmichael

Don't forget Radcliff, this kid is quick. Double Ware, Ellis, Glover....thats 6 blockers...We have to win whatever 1-1 matchs that we get into on the line.

A T-new corner blitz looked good last week too.

I'm pumped, hope this is even a bigger blowout this week.

Hmm.. I'm not sure if she's worth getting wacked by Roy. Now if it was Jessica Alba that's another story. :cunning: :cunning:

The key is for BOTH lines to outperform the oppositions lines.

Win the trenches, limit mistakes (penalties/turnovers) = win.

It's ready....... :) This will be an interesting game. I think it will give us a good sign as to where this football team really is.

As always, I agree with you. Gut check time for these kids.
