LANDOVER, Md. – If an apology is what you're after, look elsewhere.

In what is becoming a bit of a trend, the Cowboys' offense turned in a forgettable day of work in a winning effort Sunday against Washington. And while they might admit they've got a lot to work on, they balked at the notion that it was something to be sorry about.

"That's your narrative," said Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy afterward. "I think it's the reality of pro football, too. They have good players, too."

it is what it is

the thing I like about this team under McCarthy

even with injuries and the offense playing bad, they just win....thats it just win

with that said this offense needs to get its crap together

I don't know what the status is but a healthier Zeke and getting Pollard back would really help.

so, a 40 mil QB with 3 very good WR is not sufficient?... One of the biggest mistakes of the Jones, is not to have hired Tom Brady when they had the opportunity and to have decided for an average QB, and to pay him as an elite

Brady wasn't coming to Dallas. The mistake is to overpay for average talent.

Brady was not coming to Dallas lol. Especially with that personnel. Let's see.....top flight defense, Godwin, Evans.....no brainer.

Well, I think if they offered Brady the salary that they are paying Dak, I have no doubt that the QB of the cowboys would be Tom Brady.

Just me and I've never been a coach but I'm guessing they will never, ever apologize for a win.

I like Dak, but this isn't the first time Jerry & Son paid a good player like he's a great player. Being paid $40 million isn't going to make Dak better than he was when he was on his rookie contract.

"Yeah, but he's making $40 million now so..." So nothing. He's the same player, and he didn't pay himself. That decision was made by the same guys who made Zeke the highest paid RB in the league.
