It was recently noted that the Dallas brass was pleasantly surprised with Amari Cooper and his agent's willingness to be reasonable in their demands lately. Hopefully, that will prove to be the case when it comes time to settle their negotiations with some degree of fairness. This would be a justifiable cause to celebrate, considering the recent developments in our player and their agents' dealings lately. A return to sanity would be blessed.

Odell Beckham Jr. signed a five-year, $90 million deal when he was with the New York Giants in 2018. Michael Thomas signed a five-year deal worth $96.25 million in 2019. Julio Jones makes $22 million annually on his deal, most in the NFL.

Coopers deal should be lower than all of these.
