Fujita over Singelton

Numbers dont lie, not EVEN CLOSE. Between the complete seasons of 02, 03, and 04 Singelton put up at grand total of 153 tackles 2 sacks and 3 ints. During the same time frame Fujita put up 269 tackles, 9 1/2 sacks and 1 int. Oh, and in 02 Fujitas rookie year he wasnt even a fulltime starter yet and still put up 68 tackles! Plus the guys just BIGGER, can take on blockers better in the 3-4. Dont know about you guys but I'd say its time for a change. Looking at production on the field its not even a race.....

Would also get Burnett some reps in that slot too behind Fujita as he is quite probably our future at l.o.l.b...

I'm all for this if he is ready. I think he and Burnett both need to start alongside Dat and Ware.

My guess is HE PLAYS. Dats a warrior. Add to that the fact that he practiced again and it looks good. LETS HOPE!. Furthermore, been saying this for a couple years now, DAT not Roy is the true leader of this defense. EVERYTHING points to it. Tired of HEARING about Roy, I wanna actually SEE IT on the field production wise. Dont get me wrong, I like Roy, just wanna see the REP be equal to production when he's on the field. As it sits right now fans have made him into a myth that simply doesnt match production. He DOES have it in him though and I DO think he will get there. Just wanna see it.........NOW!

If you look deeper into the stats Shanle even puts up better numbers PER SNAP than Brady James. Just dont think Brady has the instincts to be a starter. I'd be all for seeing Shanle take his spot fulltime, but I would love to see Burnett take it. I'll settle for either right now, James just doesnt have it upstairs.

that sounds good then i think we need to get our best talent on the field NOW so they can develop, those 4 could be dominant in just a few weeks if we get them some serious playing time now

Shanle, James, and Fowler all should be backups with Singleton. James' and Shanle's value lies in the fact they can backup multiple positions. Singleton can as well. Put your best 4 LBs on the field.

Totally agree. Just saying Brady needs to sit. Would prefer Burnett but would take Shanle over James too. And YES, I think Burnett could play either inside or outside. Even BP referred to him as a BUBBLE L.B. NOW MAKE THE CHANGES BILL!
