This is not what I would do. I'm just bored. Dallas goes BPA in the 1st, and that leads to a pick that is sure to cause some controversy.
Again, this is not what I would do. I also believe this mock draft is highly unrealistic.
Or, it's very realistic. I could honestly see the draft fall this way. You decide.
Again, I'm bored. The draft is two freaking weeks later than it should be. Bear with me. I'll probably get some hate for this.
No trade down option available.
Some things I've taken into consideration when typing this mock:
#1. Teams don't value QBs as much as ESPN and NFLN want you to think they do.
I've seen several mocks on NFLN and ESPN that have two, three, even four QBs selected in the Top-10 picks. The most common of them being Bortles, Manziel, and Carr. Guess what? That won't happen.
Several teams that hold Top-10 selections have said they simply will not take a QB (one of them being Oakland, and Jacksonville has implied the same). There are five teams that need solid QBs (#3 Jacksonville, #4 Cleveland, #5 Oakland, #7 Tampa Bay, and #8 Minnesota). Do you really expect five out of the Top-10 picks to be QBs with talent such as Mack, Lewan, Matthews, Robinson, Watkins and Evans available?
#2. All 32 teams have their draft board set.
I'm sure you all know this by now. Again, ESPN and NFLN are trying to mislead the common people (casual fans, bandwagoners, etc).
Teddy Bridgwater was the #1 ranked QB on Mike Mayock's board a month ago. Then he had a bad Pro Day, Manziel had a good Pro Day and now Manziel is ranked #1. Not only that, Bridgewater dropped five spots on his list. There have been riseres and fallers, especially among the QB position. You think Bridgewater dropped that far after a bad Pro Day on our board, Jacksonville's board, New England's board, or any of the others?
Charlie Casserly was on NFLN earlier talking (screaming) about how no QB will go Top-10, "especially" not Manziel. He said the most likely candidates are Bridgewater and Bortles, and that if two or more do go Top-10, then "every GM [he's] talked to has been lying to him." He went on to say that teams are of course tweaking some things, making very minor changes possibly, but nothing drastic like the TV wants you to think. Tom Savage is an early 2nd rounder all of a sudden? Seriously?
This is honestly how I see the 1st round of the draft panning out (barring no significant trades*). I have researched each team's needs extensively. There are, of course, reaches and steals, but it is what it is.
Prepare to be entertained...

J. Heath
Right Cornerback
M. Claiborne
O. Scandrick
S. Moore
Plus three on ST (C. Jones, D. Bailey and L. LaDouceur) = 72 (90 required by Training Camp)
Footnotes (I'm adding these on the fly):
*Of course there will be trades, but I'm not going to try to work those scenarios out. In a draft this deep, I see some possible small trades (Dolphins trading up a couple spots to get an OLineman, Eagles trading up a couple spots for a falling WR, etc), but I don't suspect anything major happening.
So there goes my mock draft. I don't want this to happen, and I don't think it will. But it's way more realistic than some mocks I have seen. I've researched, watched, read and clicked my little heart out, and I just have one question to ask you...
Are you not entertained?
