I can`t believe that defense didn't have a single probowler.

I'm sure Buffalo offense would argue with voters about not putting any Cowboys defensive player on the team. lol

Cowboys defense used that as a motivator heading into the post season, they went out and proved to people they made a mistake in not selecting any of our defensive players.

This is my favorite Cowboy team. Buffalo had an all-star team on offense, defense and special teams and for the Boys to dominate like they did shows how truly great that team was. Remember they had to go through a tough Eagle team and the favorite 49ers to just get to the SB.

Youngest team in the NFL, there will never be another team like that. The depth they had was remarkable and they were excellent in all 3 phases of the game. The kicking game may have been their only weakness.

My favorite team too. I liked Ernie Zampese, but no one called a game like Norv Turner.

That defense was a ball-hawking, gang-tackling, turnover-creating group - and was pretty much obscured by one of the most dominant ball-control offenses of all time. From the mean and nasty fat boys on the o-line to a group of skill position guys who rarely coughed up the ball and relentlessly made opponents PAY for each and every one of THEIR miscues by converting them into scores... simply one of the most dominating forces in NFL history. Even with the rule changes - I'd like their chances against ANY of the great teams of the past. and present.

I love the Ken Norton stop on the goal line on Kenneth Davis. What a great play. Norton was a very underrated player for us and when he went to SF it killed me. He was a leader and was tough as nails. Finished one of the seasons with a torn biceps. One tough SOB!

Great point. They just rotated player after player - young, hungry kids that loved to play for the coaches and excelled in that system. Great to watch if you were a Cowboys fan.

The thing I remember about those teams was that although they were not that big they could all fly around. Speed. Jimmy loved speed. Everyone to the ball.

I myself was very disheartened when Ken Norton Jr left... As Irvin was the heart and soul of the offensive side of the ball, Norton was the nasty attitude of the defensive side. I always thought if Norton was paid and not had left in 94, the Cowboys would have had their 3-peat...
