Here’s some of his meandering, non answers, unintended admissions of his intentions and general “business as usual” comments.
George - He really likes George and while he understands that everyone wants to know about negotiations, that he hasn’t even met with the agent and that he will be with the team whether there’s a contract or he is on the tag and now he’s in the tag.
Agents - Jerry has still never spoken with Mulagheta and still believes that agents are not the primary involved but he understands players may prefer to work through their agent
High Profile Drama - usually drama happens when there’s a bigger impact player. I don’t reallly know how to donut any other way than to have drama when it comes to negotiations. While we may lead the league in terms of perception when it comes to drama but other teams have that too. It’s not a concern of mine at all.
