When we visited with Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez at the Super Bowl, he said he definitely would be back for another season in 2011.

Well, Tony, blame the possibility of an abbreviated or cancelled season on a premature decertification.

Well if this is it for him then it's unfortanate he was never able to win a super bowl.
A super bowl? How about a playoff game?

I don't think TG has ever won one in all his years in the league.

You always hate to see a guy retire before he is ready. Especially when it's something stupid like greed that is causing it.

I didn't realize that. Amazing for the best tight end to ever play.
