ahh yes....that time again....everybody's fav segment....would Dallas do this? No...probably not....would Detroit? Probably...more like definitely not...but u never know....but that's not the point...YOU are playing GM....would YOU?!? Our chance to get Detroit back for sticking it to us for the Roy Williams trade!

Megatron is gone, they need a true #1 WR....

We say goodbye to Dez for their #16 this season and their 2nd (#46).

Would leave us with T Will as our #1 and we all know how that looked last season....AWFUL....but we could still go QB or Defense at #4 with Goff, Wentz or Ramsey and then at 16...maaaybe Treadwell is still there?? And 2 primo picks in the 2nd to boot!

Thoughts??

Nope.

But I might trade Romo to the Rams for 15 and another 2nd and go Wentz and then Zeke in the 1st.

*disclaimer- I am Romo's #1 fan but these bozos will never put it together for him!

Even with Dez coming off a couple of surgeries I wouldn't trade him for the 16th and 46th pick. You could end up with nothing at #16 and #46 it makes no sense trading one of your best players for a couple of rolls of the dice. The Cowboys would be in trouble at WR without Dez making it more difficult for Romo and our offense to have success. Without Dez the Cowboys would have no one on offense that scares anyone they already have that problem on defense. You can't part ways with your top RB and WR in back to back seasons and expect to be a playoff team with an aging QB who's missed games the past 3 seasons with injuries.

Romo needs weapons or he'll be a sitting duck in the pocket. If I'm the GM I'm trading down from #4 overall and picking up at the very least a #2. I'll then take the best defensive player I can get with my #1 and draft a QB with one of my #2's or use one to package with another pick and move back into the first round for a QB. I plan on coming up with a player that will help us in 2016 and a young QB prospect that will hopefully develop into a solid backup and possibly Romo's replacement in a few years.

Well, if we lived in a word without a salary cap, yes, I might consider it, if I thought I could get good value out of the picks in the draft. This year, probably not, (because of the lack of quality and depth of receiver) but I would probably do it for two #1s, or maybe a 1st and 2nd this year and a 2nd next year. One of those could be used on a receiver who is probably less talented, but more mentally stable than Dez.

I think Treadwell isn't any better than Terrance Williams and is sorely overvalued.

A fun thread would have been Dallas trades their 6th round pick acquired from Oakland to Houston for JJ Watt and the Texans 1st Round Pick. Your scenario is not fun. :facepalm:

Trade down from the 4th and still get 2 primo picks (in 2nd round) AND Dez Bryant who is better than ANY receiver in this draft.
