The difference between us, and the Dallas


After the first month of the season, and after watching 3 Commanders games, and 4 puke games, I can safely say that we are better than Dallas - on paper.

Dallas has a big edge on us at QB (sorry, but Romo is for real), and Oline.

We have a huge edge at RB, Dline, LB, and secondary.

Push is at receiver, TE, and special teams.

Our records are similar, our 1 loss to them being unbeaten isn't that big of a deal. It's a long season.

However... the reason why Dallas gets all the press as being a potential powerhouse, and we don't, comes down to one thing:

Coaching

Dallas has a huge edge in coaching. And, all respect to Gibbs, our coaching is pretty bad.

Dallas crushes teams. They are agressive. They go for the kill. They put their foot on the accelerator, and don't let off. They play football, the players love.

And we don't. We heard in Gibbs last PC that we weren't good enough to blow teams out. Suggesting that rather, we have to keep it close and hope for a chance to win it in the end.

I don't know how he can say that when a team like Dallas, with less talent, can come out and do it.

Here's to hoping that our coaching staff - from top to bottom - does some serious soul searching, tape-watching, philosophy visiting, etc, and we come out swinging for the rest of the season.

i was just reading there game thread and that tr1 guy is funny. every post by him was "where's the holding penalty on dallas?" than he said "I think the cowboys pass so much just to pad Romo's numbers. who with me?"

i as much as i hate the Deadskins i actually think he makes SOME good points. although to say they have a huge edge at RB and LB is dumb. although they could maybe have an argument that they are better at those positions but it isnt by much if at all... Coaching and Campbell are what ultimately makes them a lot worse than us! we would be the same as them if we still had Parcells because he and Gibbs are the same...

TE is not a push. Cooley is good but not in Witten's class. WR a push? I don't think so.

If WR was a push why is it Moss and Rendle-El are the only 2 WR that have caught passes, lloyd hasn't seen a pass, thrash hasn't either, they signed Caldwell for some reason and may sign McCardell, yeah that sounds like atime confident in its WR talent.

I was lurking on ES just now and saw this post, I then immediatly came here to see if it was posted here and to my delight it was.

I have never seen a website (ES) where the Mods actually ban people for giving credit to the Cowboys for doing things right.

You have one mod banning their own members for praising the boys, and another one using the most insane logic to discredit anything the Cowboys are doing, and of course completly ignoring his prior posts that discredit his current posts.

I only lurk there for one thing, the entertainment value and the Commanders fans NEVER dissapoint!
