. Or he would just dump it on the ground and get away with no illegal grounding ," because it was thrown at feet of eligible receiver". ( yeah right , full 5 yards behind a guy who was blocking ,not even looking for the ball)

Sort of like that holding call against the 9ers when Emmitt was blocking and the refs called defensive holding as if he were a receiver, giving the Cowboys a new set of downs in the 92 NFCC game?

It happens to every team.

I still remember that play like it was yesterday. I wanted to jump through the screen after he completed the pass after all that running around.

I remember Parcells referring to it as a "punt" during the post-game presser. LOL

I'm sure that Giant's fan was frustrated.

But every time Dallas plays the New Yorks, Eli frustrates the crap out of me. Even when Dallas had a really good pass rush Eli would get the ball away before meany was near him.

I know he's the enemy and people don't like him around here. But I respect his ability to throw the ball, quickly and mostly on target.

lmao....

I'd be surprised if Eli doesn't have atleast a 70% completion rate vs the Cowboys for his career. Seemed like he was completing most of his passes yesterday, and his only pick was tipped (albeit a bad pass on a sure td). Yes, he's been struggling the past couple years, but there was a point in time where he was one of, if not the most clutch qb's in final drives. Two super bowl rings show that.

Can't stand the guy though

I would love to see an NFL QB pull out a cell phone and pretend to call someone while his O-line gave him 8-10 seconds of time. He'd be fined so hard but it would be so worth it.

I remember the days when they made jokes out of Eli like:

"If Eli played for Cuba he'd even overthrow Castro"

Monday Night Football - November 15, 2004

I remember because I had open heart surgery that day and was still in recovery that night and did not see the game. After worrying that I would miss it ahead of time, when I woke up and found out what had happened I was glad I missed it.

T.O. played for the iggles then, and he unveiled that commercial where he was with some model or actress with not much clothes on.

And McNabb had a play where he scrambled for 8 or 10 seconds or something.

I'm thinking it was well over 10 seconds, but I'm not sure. I want to say 16 seconds, but I'm old and forgetful.

We still need to play a complete game against the Eagles or we get killed. It's great to win but we need to play better to get to where we want to go.
That was a 3-7 team we played last night.

Somebody seems to be saying this every week.

From their forum

Did yall notice Romo on one play..... he took the snap, did a 5 step drop, pulled out his cell phone, ordered a Pizza from Papa Johns, put his phone away, then completed a pass to Dez for about 20 yards. We almost got to him on that play...... if he had just held onto the ball another 2 or 3 minutes, I think we would have sacked him.

Yeah...funny stuff on Giants.com message boards these days. I almost feel sorry for them. They do have the Beckham Jr. catch to keep 'em warm and cozy at night...

Who on the message board here has the avatar showing his catch, but he is catching a big 'L' instead of the football?

That is awesome, .. and hilarious!

It reminded me of the good old days when Greg Ellis and company would chase McNabb around for what seemed like an eternity.

Yeah that final Romo TD reminded me of McNabb's 14 second scramble vs us.
