B, definitely. One would assume a lamppost, which has been there through who knows how many windstorms, would stand up to a little pole dancing.

An electric or telephone pole? Something with a base buried deep in the ground? Sure. A lamppost with a couple of bolts holding it on a slab of concrete? Personally I would not trust that on the same day watching it get mounted.

In my opinion, pole dancing should be strictly regulated to poles built strictly for dancing. Unless the lamppost dancer is Gene Kelly. Then it is all good, even if he is lamppost dancing in the rain.
