It's just a little outdoor wood stove, I believe.

It's a chiminea. (basically, a standing firepit) You use them for heating outdoor rooms or just heat in general, but that one is all off by its lonely self lol.

Could be used with pinion wood for repelling mosquitoes which is how they were initially sold. We got one when they were first imported but I can't attest that it worked. Hell, I saw a mosquito land on the edge of a burning citronella candle while we had pinion going.

The point I was making is, what good is a firepit if it's all by itself?!?!? You need to put it near chairs or something so people can enjoy the fire.
