Most people with OCD are not clean freaks. That's just a generalized stereotype perpetuated by people saying/posting/texting over and over they keep their space clean because they are OCD. In reality though, most of those people are just clean freaks, germophobes or simply prefer clean spaces. Of course someone can be a germophobe and also have OCD, but the former does not confirm the latter.

I was definitely not offended (I rarely am) .. I was just pointing out that many people wrongly define OCD as germophobe/clean-freak when most of the time they are unrelated.
