This is from the Bucs forum and someone complained that they are not getting respect from the Cowboys fans.

I wish I could understand the uber-macho male need for 'respect' from other teams' fans. It would be a different thing if the Bucs are a 500 or better team. But when the team has played as poorly as the Bucs have this year, why would the fans of a team who just beat the Colts, have any respect for the Bucs? Did you really expect to see
"Yeah we kept Peyton Manning in check, but now we've got to deal with Bruce Gradkowski!!!! "?

Don't players always say 'respect is earned on the field? I don't expect fans of other teams to respect the Bucs until the Bucs get back to playing well against good teams.

The Bucs have an offense that while not very potent can at least score some points while their defense is better than average and help the offense quite a bit.

There are a few teams you don't respect and usually those teams end up hurting you.

A good example are the Texans and Titans. Neither of those teams were considered very good earlier this year and look what they have done since. While neither are heading to the Super Bowl, both of those teams look a lot better now than they did in the first few games.

In this day and age, the movie title, "Any Given Sunday" is probably more true than it has ever been.

Lack of respect leads to lack of effort and lack of effort leads to losing.

That being said, the Cowboys should win this game by a large margin. :)

The Bucs are a decent team...

But I see this as an easy-semi easy victory for us. Or at least it should be that way. I mean were starting to roll now arent we?

I agree and right now these teams who know they are out of it have nothing to lose. They can afford to go for it in 4th and short in their own territory or around the goal line instead of going for the FG. There is no doubt this is a game that Dallas should win but while fans can disrespect the Bucs the Cowboys really can't. As Brady James said earlier this year "Respect the teams you play but fear none” Tampa has NFL pros on that team capable of putting together a good game.

This game does worry me because it's the next game on the schedule and hopefully they aren't looking ahead to the Giants.

I think Romo said it best when he stated "the win vs the Colts wont mean anything if they lose to the Bucs".

Was this written by that 2bubble3hipples or whatever that guys name is that posts here and acts like a National NFL Analyst and who always seems to think the Bucs are the best team in the NFL?

Or their time off. Guys will have family and friends coming into town for the holidays and guys need to stay focused on Tampa and then enjoy the holidays. I can promise you players are looking forward to this time off they are about to get.

I dont think Bill is going to let them overlook the Bucs. He is harder on them now then after a loss. If the Bucs win the game, they will have earned it.
