Hello everyone! As stated during my mock draft last night, I've done a mock draft with a trade. The Buffalo Bills offered me their 30th, 61st (2nd round), 93rd (3rd round), 2022 2nd round pick, and their 2022 4th round pick for the 10th overall pick. Naturally, I took the deal. Moehrig and Barmore were off the board by the time I was picking, so I took who I felt was the next best option. You know how my mock drafts work by now:
1st round (30th overall): Zaven Collins LB Tulsa 6'4" and 260 lbs.
Explosive linebacker who is tremendous in coverage and excellent in the run. Imo, best LB in the draft. He's also excellent in pass rush. Thus, when blitzing, he is a lethal weapon to attack the QB. All in all, an excellent choice here.
2nd round (44th overall) Alim McNeil DT 6'2" and 320 lbs.
Massive run stopping 1T DT. McNeil fills a huge need that our team has. He swallows up blocks well, and he still generates a push when doubled. You've probably seen my take on him before.
2nd round (61st overall) Jevon Holland S Oregon 6'1" and 196 lbs.
You've probably seen my take on this player before as well. Ballhawking FS. Holland would fill a need our team has long had, and he loves to intercept passes. Holland is also surprisingly hard hitting for a FS, especially considering his size. Look what he does against Washington State to the WR. He absolutely devastates number 12 with his hit. Against the University of Washington, he, along with the Oregon DT, absolutely swallows up the RB. Jevon Holland is also a good punt returner, so he gives us a trio of good PR options along with Lamb and Cedric Wilson. That's important for field position. If our defence improves like it should, we will be returning a lot of punts, as well as takeaways. Thus, we will want a nice rotation of punt returners, and Holland gives us a 3rd returner. Good to have.
3rd round (75th overall) Rashad Weaver DE Pittsburgh 6'5" and 270 lbs.
A solid pass rushing DE. He can play a bit of 3T if needed, but I like him a lot at DE rotating with Randy Gregory. He's big, but he's also very quick and agile for his size. He's good at changing directions while in pass rush, and he employs a number of pass rushing techniques to break free from the oline. Not only that, but, if you watch the video, he not only sacks the QB from Boston College, but he literally rips the ball out of his hands. Watch what he does to Trevor Lawrence, the likely number 1 overall pick. Not only does he get past his blocker, but he comes in from behind Lawrence and crushes him like a bug causing Lawrence to lose the ball. 71 for Clemson was helpless with the power that Weaver showed.
3rd round (93rd overall) D'Wayne Eskridge WR Western Michigan 5'9" and 190 lbs.
Small school WR who is fast. Lightning fast! He's a deep ball threat with his speed. Reminds me a bit of former Panthers WR Steve Smith with how fast he is, and the way he plays on the outside, despite his size. In fact, his size and playing skills, as I watch, are quite comparable to him. Like Steve Smith, he'd make an excellent KR and he'd also be very helpful at WR. Additionally, he'd make a nice replacement for Gallup if we can't keep Gallup next year. If we can, then this gives us another excellent WR. 5 solid WRs between Coop, Gallup, Lamb, Wilson, and Eskridge. Yes please!
3rd round (99th overall) Ambry Thomas CB Michigan 5'11 and 189 lbs.

As I did yesterday, this player deserves 2 videos. One because he's a solid CB who can either play outside or slot. Also, he can return kicks. He, Eskridge, Pollard, Lamb, and Holland (if Holland is also used as KR) would give us 5 good kick returners. It'd be nice to have 5 options to return kicks.
4th round (115th overall) Tony Fields II LB West Virginia 6'1" and 222 lbs.

Fields is an underrated LB who is solid against the run. He helps fix our run defence, but he's also no slouch against the pass either. He's smart, and he is excellent at diagnosing plays. Between Jaylon, LVE, Neal, Collins, and Fields, we would have a nice combination of LBers.
4th round (138th overall) Royce Newman OG Ole Miss 6'5" and 306 lbs.

Can play OT or OG. Newman gives us nice depth if Tyron Smith or Collins go down. Also, if needed, he can also fill in at guard. He's versatile. His strength is pass blocking, but he's no slouch against the run. He's a sleeper who will need coaching. He's a player that I think Philbin would enjoy coaching.
5th round (179th overall) Camryn Bynum CB California 6'0 and 200 lbs.

Underrated CB who would battle well with Anthony Brown. Solid in CB blitzing, solid in coverage, just right for our team at CB.
6th round (192nd overall) Shemar Jean-Charles CB Appalachian State 5'11 and 190 lbs.

Sleeper of a CB that you've seen me post about before, so I won't bore you with much of an explanation here as I've explained this pick before.
6th round (227 overall) K.J. Britt LB Auburn 6'0" and 243 lbs.

Has good instincts, and he is a disciplined LB. Solid against the run. Nice depth at LB for us and I think he'd develop nicely.
7th round (238th overall) Khyiris Tonga DT BYU 6'4" and 322 lbs.

Another player you've seen me talk about. He's a sleeper of a DT who would give us good depth at 1T. He and McNeil give us a nice team of 1Ts.
