This is my 6th variant of no trade mocks. To help explain this draft, this was a one run. No trades, no redoes. It makes this an additional challenge. This was straight on through with no other adjustments. You know how I do my mock drafts my now, so no need to explain what to explain.
10th overall (1st round) DT Christian Barmore Alabama
6'5 and 310 lbs. Nasty attitude, dangerous DT who can play 1T. Maybe a bit of a reach, but, like Travis Frederick, not a reach if he works out, and I think he'd work out well for us. He's excellent in pass rush and run stopping. Watch what he does to the RB for Ohio State. The OSU RB had no chance.
44th overall (2nd round) S Richie Grant UCF
6'0 and 194 lbs. Underrated safety who has excellent ball skills. He's also very good at run stopping. He fits exactly what we'd need at S, thus solving our S problem, especially along side Wilson.
75th overall (3rd round) LB Jamin Davis Kentucky
6'4" and 234lbs. Excellent run stopping LB! He is an incredible player. He also has excellent ball skills. Look at what he does to the NC State QB. Excellent at pass rushing too. Notice how he also blocks the FG attempt by NC State.
99th overall (3rd round) OT D'Ante Smith East Carolina
6'5" and 294 lbs. Excellent in pass block. Look at the way he blocks the DE from Old Dominion. He kept his QB clean. Given T Smith's injury history of late and what happened with Collins, Smith is someone who can fill in for either depending on what happens, though he's much more natural at LT. Coincidentally, that's the spot that T Smith is. So, he'd be a ready made fit if we need someone to fill in for T Smith. Watch his run block as well against Old Dominion. Nice power block.
115th overall (4th round) CB Paulson Adebo Stanford
6'1" and 192 lbs. He's an underrated CB for Stanford who would make an excellent replacement for Awuzie. He's excellent in run stopping, and he's physical in the pass. A complete opposite of Awuzie on that front. Excellent ball skills, and excellent at fighting the WRs within 5 yards. Knocks the WRs off their routes. The more I watch him, the more I'm convinced he's the type of CB that Quinn would enjoy having on this team, and getting him in the 4th round would be quite the bargain. Mind you, Quinn once had a 4th round CB who turned out to be an absolute monster on his secondary. I'd trust the spot opposite Diggs to Adebo.
138th overall (4th round) WR Anthony Schwartz Auburn

6'1 and 175 lbs. May the Schwartz be with us if we draft him! He also runs track for Auburn. He's lightning fast, and quite tall. He's the perfect replacement for Gallup. Additionally, he'd make an excellent KR with his speed. His 40 time was an astounding 4.26. As for this season, between Coop, Gallup, Lamb, Schwartz, and Wilson, that is quite possibly the most dangerous WR lineup in ALL of football. ALL are starting caliber WRs. ALL have different things that they do well that compliments each other. Give one of them the ball, and this offense shines. No possible way to cover all of them and, with his speed, Schwartz may actually garner more attention than anyone. Just get the ball in his hands and away he goes like a lightning bolt!
179th overall (5th round) CB Tre Brown Oklahoma

5'9" and 188 lbs. While not a tall CB, he's QUICK!!!!! He's feisty when fighting for the ball, has excellent ball skills, and is excellent at blitzing the CB. He's the quintessential definition of a slot CB. Additionally, he's a natural KR and PR as well. Consider how last year, if I recall correctly, our return specialists were Pollard (mainly for KR), Lamb (sometimes KR and PR), and Wilson. With these picks, we'd now have the choice of Lamb, Schwartz, Brown, and Wilson for returns. 3 of which with potential TD capability if a kicker dares try to kick it to them. Put two of them back for KR, and make the kicker pick his poison or kick a squib kick and pray it doesn't get to Schwartz or Brown. The second it gets into either hand, fasten your seatbelts in the stadium. Two rockets are going to go flying by on the field.
192nd overall (6th round) CB Shemar Jean-Charles Appalachian State

5'11 and 190 lbs. Another sleeper of a CB. you've probably read my take on him in previous mock drafts, so I won't go into too much detail here.
227th overall (6th round) DE Chris Rumph II Duke

6'3" and 236 lbs. What he lacks in weight, he makes up for in his ability to rush the passer. Look at how he absolutely crushes the QB for Miami. He'll need to put some weight on, but he is an absolute cannon when rushing the QB. Additionally, he's solid at run stopping, so, when a RB tries to bounce it to the outside, he's no slouch at stopping this either. Given his quickness, he'd also be helpful on special teams when trying to rush punts and field goals. He could knife through the blockers causing panic allowing the wingmen to finish the job of blocking field goal attempts.
238th overall (7th round) QB Shane Buechele SMU (Formerly Texas)

6'1" and 207 lbs. Former QB at Texas who transferred to SMU. Never a bad thing to draft a QB every year to compete. Buchele would compete with Ben DiNucci for the 3rd spot on the team. The loser of the battle spends the season on the practice squad. While not a great deep passer, he is a smart player. Remains poised even under intense pass rush and throws an accurate pass. Simply put, he looks more competent than DiNucci, and he'd have a better chance at a success than DiNucci.
