Of course it has. When the team goes no farther than it has, the coach will be the scapegoat.

I would love to see a comparison of Montana or any Superbowl winning QB's stats for the playoffs compared to Dak's.

I haven't done the analysis, but I wonder what it would look like.

My premise here is who are the "clutch" players when the chips are down.

Stats for 3rd and long in the 4th quarter in a game winning drive.

Stats for once and done knowck out games - playoffs.

Stats for 4th quarter drives with a marginal lead that seals the win for the team.

What are his stats in "clutch" situations? I just don't have the time to compile this.

McCarthy has been on notice since we got bounced last year. Dak deal doesn’t matter. He has to get to the nfc championship game or he’s gonna be replaced. And he should. 3 straight 12 win seasons is a great accomplishment but 3 straight struggles in the playoffs negates all of that
