Looks like the Cowboys will be set for running backs for awhile. Jones, Barber and Thompson will make teams uneasy no matter who runs. Time to get some
offense line help to make them feared.

If Thompson learns how to blitz protect like Jones and Barber...wow.

Agreed...Heard on the net broadcast that he missed that block, one where bledsoe fumbled, and Bill, Todd Haley and Sean were all yelling at him on the sidelines.

Thanks for the welcome. Remember Thompson has not play much top of the line football, he will learn and lord help the EAST when we are running all three.

Didn't notice that but it must have been ugly for Thompson all those coaches on him. LOL

Ya know I think our O-line is okay. The guys we have just need some time to get more experience. Rob is doing well and Tucker did ok today. About time to start finding a back/replacement for LA, but we're good for a while with our O-line. I think once our guys get more confident/experiencecd, we'll be pretty hard to beat on offense, our defense speaks for itself!

I still say we target Oline this offseason, that IMO, is the 1 piece, that will keep us from advancing deep through the playoffs, not just now, but in the future

Finally someone agrees with me. The oline is are weakest link with Flozell now it is our ball and chain. Petti will be fine but we need some more help next year.

The Offensive Line is the one area you ALWAYS have to be seeking to improve. You have injuries, age, etc. The number one reason we won 3 Super Bowls was that we had so many good to great players on the 'O' line. When Stepnoski or Newton got hurt, we had Cornish, Gesek or Kennard to sub wherever they were needed. We lose Kevin Gogan to FA, second round pick Larry Allen steps in at RG.
That's what makes & keeps a team great for a long time. Next year's draft is the best in a decade for OTs. We need to get one of the best coming out to get our line as good as we can get.

I didnt say we dont need to improve it, just that we have enough to make due with. Obviousl you dont want to have to make due, you want to be set and confident, but with FA out, I dont think we are finished because of it. I did mention that we need to find young guys to replace LA and FA when they decide to hang it up!

Whart position exactly are you guys looking at?

LT-Need some depth behind Flo
I think we stay pat at LG, see what peterman has.
center is rough right now, I say lets see how Al and Drew work together later on before we make any decisions. But very possibly an upgrade needed
RG- Later round guy maybe for Riveras replacement/depth
RT-Think were fine for years
