Booze and I used to get along back before this board was formed over at the ranch.

Something happened and his personality seem to change. He's been attacking me and others ever since.

I've never been one to beat around the bush so when he comes in with his passive aggressive attacks I'm going to ask him what's up.

Apparently my comment on antisocial Behavior struck a nerve too.

If he really thinks that I have low self esteem and am miserable and his reaction is to attack and belittle then what does that say?
I was at the Ranch, back then, under another nom de plume. Your recollection is better than mine, but I always have loved my extracurricular activities...

I remember because we used to have good conversations about Bukowski, Burroughs, other beat writers, music and the team.

Something happened not long before he got banned and came back with his current moniker. His demeanor just changed.

Bukowski was RIGHT!!! lol...

Well... If there's a void to be filled, I live/talk beatnik constantly. Just got my girl into Twain and she's digesting everything. Turning her into a civil human yet...

It's been a spell since I read confessions of a dirty old man, Junkie, or Naked Lunch.

I always liked the voice Twain used. I try to emulate it from time to time. It certainly was a breath of fresh air as opposed too earlier literature and it's stiffness. I can't enjoy most 19th century works.

Public education has been very good for writing in my mind.

Seriously, Ginsberg was the conductor of that whole train, pretty much. That guy held sway.

I... uh... I'm glad it wasn't me that made this weird.

Fuzzy Wuzzy Lumpkins made it weird, but I think it is because he secretly loves me.

I actually was paying him a compliment. No way I am watching Lenny Jones in the fourth quarter of a complete garbage game and giving you all the run down. He cares more, I don't. I pointed that out.

But here we go, with a Brainy Smurf glasses slide up the nose, "Well, actually, this is more of a psychological issue that frankly---".

It is not even close to being that deep.

I just try to make things strange, not weird.

I don't think that adequately describes it.

Strange? There has to be a better word. I just cannot think of it right now.

There will be a moment where it comes to you and you will post it. I'll be around when that happens, I think.
Until then: you know I'm a fan.

Never could get into his poetry or poems in general. If I'm going for lack of form I go for jabberwocky or similar stream of consciousness.

Poetry tries too hard for what it is.

I think I fell in love with my latest when she decided she really liked Joyce after I told her she babbled a little like that.

Oh... that is sexy. I wasn't talking about his work per se. I was talking about his influence on other Beat writers. Pretty much all of the major ones. He was in all of their ears and they listened.

Who said it was deep? If history has shown anything then it will be something petty at the root.

When I was talking about mental illness I was speaking to idj in general terms about antisocial behavior. It certainly was not directed at you.

Then you came back with the tit for tat "I'm not sick; you are" post.

That's what started it.

Poor Booze.

Personally I see him as having quite a bit of levity that goes both ways. Sure in past off-season he has fought the negativity. On the other hand he has should skepticism about Club moves this offseason.

For myself I think issue is when you only go one way or the other.

I would ask you why it bothers you so much when people say nice things about me. It's become a yearly ritual for you to come into these threads with your passive aggressive bashing. I am deeply hurt that you do not think that I am a swell guy.

He gets bent out of shape when I post about the salary cap.

I like the reviews that you do. Keep doing them.

There was a poster here in the past that only posted to pat himself on the back. He was a good guy in many ways but everything was slanted towards implied braggadocio.

He loved to make absolute statements and give guarantees. He didn't really understand football very well but would argue to the death.

He constantly pretended to have inside knowledge.

He could have been a good poster without all that nonsense because he had a way with words and story telling.

That type if behavior should have been called out, but getting worked up because of simple game reviews is silly.

If Booze is going to call you out, it seems odd that it would be about your game reviews. You say many things that are much more controversial and argumentative than anything you put in these reviews.
